Abortion should be legal because it isn't any of my business what a woman decides to do with her pregnancy. It is her decision and hers alone-- not the countries, not the states. Not the doctors, not the lovers. It's the woman's choice. I have some things for the pro-life folks. Will you raise a 15 year-old girl's son as she finishes high school and goes on to attending college? Or do you just want to take away her rights of saving her own life? What happens if the mother cannot take care of the baby. What happens if she was raped and doesn't want a baby that was brought onto her by force rather than love? What if she doesn't have enough money to care for the baby? Will you do it? Will you pay for all the clothes and all the milk powders? Will you pay for the diapers? That's a lot of money. What happens if she has bigger dreams and her present life, or the next 6 years, don't hold a baby in them. What happens when she comes home one day and tells her parents she's pregnant and instead of doing something about it, they beat her until she has nothing but blood covering every inch of her skin-- because she couldn't abort the fetus. Everyone must respect each others rights and freewill. You cannot take away a persons decision on what they desire to do with their life. Their body. Their pregnancy. Their education. Anything. You cannot. Here is some news. Certain drugs are illegal but addiction problems still exist. Selling organs is illegal but people still buy. Everyone is equal but people still categorize. Abortion becomes illegal, babies will still be aborted. That's that.
